The Right of Way Section of the Department of Transportation and Development will hold lettings for
the sale/demolition of land and buildings each 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the Louisiana Department of
Transportation and Development Auditorium, 1201 Capitol Access Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Sealed bids for the sale/demolition of state owned land and buildings will be received by the Louisiana
Department of Transportation and Development, Right of Way Section, 1201 Capitol Access Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70802
until 4:15 p.m. on the Wednesday before the day of the letting, after which bids will be received in the Louisiana Department
of Transportation and Development Auditorium, 1201 Capitol Access Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the
day of the letting, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read. No bids will be received after 10:00 a.m.
Bids forms can be printed from the Internet for viewing only (please note: internet form does not include pictures
of improvements, maps or asbestos reports, etc.). Official bid forms can be obtained upon request from the Right of Way Office (Room S-207), 1201 Capitol Access Road, Baton Rouge,
Louisiana, 70802, phone (800) 256-3896. Written request for bid forms should be sent to Louisiana Department of Transportation and
Development, Right of Way Section, P.O. Box 94245, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70804-9245.
All bids should be mailed to P.O. Box 94245, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70804-9245. Bids should be submitted
in a sealed envelope so marked as to indicate its contents without being opened (i.e. State Project No., Contract no., Parish, your name and
address, etc.) This envelope should be placed in another which shall be sealed, addressed and delivered to the Louisiana Department of Transportation
and Development, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before the time specified for opening bids. Bids received after the time specified will be returned to the
bidder unopened.
