Profile of System

Caldwell Parish Public Transit (CPPT) provides public transportation for Caldwell Parish. Transportation services are available to all persons of all ages. For the rider’s convenience CPPT provides a toll-free number: 1-877-382-0107.

Caldwell Parish Public Transit’s goal is to provide clients with clean, safe, dependable and efficient transportation. Efforts are concentrated on providing organized quality service in a cost efficient manner. CPPT has a fleet of three (3) vans and one minivan, each of them handicapped accessible and 2 minivans that are not handicapped accessible. Every effort is made to honor pick-up time within 15 minutes. Caldwell Parish Public Transit has over 22 years of experience. Because safety of passengers is a high priority, all drivers are drug tested, receive defensive driving classes annually, and are required to have a valid chauffeur’s license.

As a rural transportation provider, Caldwell Parish Public Transit plays an important role in the transit needs of Caldwell Parish residents. CPPT’s motto is: "We care about you and where you need to go!"
