Welfare to Work passengers are transported from 6:00 AM through 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, except holidays. Evangeline Transit is a certified Medicaid provider and is also contracted to transport clients to Acadiana Day Care Center in Opelousas, as well as dialysis clients to Opelousas and Eunice. Service is provided for Evangeline Parish only. Vans are located in three areas of the parish, Ville Platte, Mamou and Basile.
