Profile of System |
| Webster Public Transportation was one of the first rural public transportation programs in the state. Transportation was first sponsored by the Webster Parish Office of Community Services in mid-1973 when the Webster Parish Police Jury purchased a nine-passenger station wagon for the program. The program fleet has grown to 12 buses and 2 mini- vans. A staff of 20 operates one of the most cost efficient programs in Louisiana. Transportation is provided for Title XIX non-emergency medical transportation, welfare to work participants, and General Public Transportation for all residents of Webster Parish. |
