Safe Routes to School Program

Welcome to the Safe Routes to School Program Page:
Safe Routes to School programs all share one common goal - to improve the health of
kids and the community by making walking and bicycling to school safer, easier and more enjoyable.
Louisiana received approximately 9 million dollars to fund Safe Routes to School projects throughout the state over the next three years. The Safe Routes to School Program will open its new funding cycle on January 3, 2008.
