LA 42 (Perkins Road) in Baton Rouge from the Dawson Creek Bridge to Essen Lane will be reduced to one lane of through traffic on Tuesday, October 27, from 8:00 p.m. to Wednesday, October 28, at 6:00 a.m. while crews work on new concrete paving. This will be one lane only eastbound and westbound Perkins. Traffic  will be controlled by a flagger and pilot car one direction at a time.

This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone.  The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using Highland Road.
