I-10 Widening Project lane closure update

The following closure will be in place each night on Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24.

I-10 westbound will be reduced to one lane of thru traffic from the I-10/I-12 split to Bluebonnet from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews work on embankment.

Also, I-10 westbound will be completely shut down for 30 minutes on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 1 a.m. to allow crews to relocate a large piece of construction equipment.

Motorists should use caution while traveling through this area. This closure is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
