BATON ROUGE, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that it will be the pilot agency for the new LaGov financial system. LaGov, which will be the centralized business service used by all state agencies, will offer vendors a self-service website to update their profiles, check payment status and view other relevant information.

This new business service will help the state consolidate resources, improved technology use and saved money through the creation of a service vessel for all business information. The system will provide electronic fund transfers (EFT) as DOTD’s current system provides.

Beginning July 12, DOTD will modify payment schedules to comply with the current Division of Administration standard contract schedule.
