The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is conducting a public meeting in an open house format for proposed improvements along La. 42 from U.S. 61 to just east of La. 44. The purpose of the public meeting is to provide information and obtain input on the proposed project.

The meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Primary School, located at 17550 Old Jefferson Highway in Prairieville, La.

The meeting will follow an open house format. There will be a continuous multi-media presentation about the project. Additional project information will be available for viewing. Representatives from DOTD and its consultants will be at the open house to receive comments, answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Verbal comments may be recorded at the meeting. Written statements can be submitted at the meeting or mailed to the address shown below, postmarked within ten (10) days following the meeting.
