There will be alternating lane closures on U.S. 190 eastbound at the Amite River Bridge from 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 while crews perform work on the barrier rail of the two bridges.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11-feet-wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads are still under permit restrictions. Motorists may use I-12 as an alternate route.
