U.S. 190 Amite River Bridge complete closure notice

U.S. 190 at the Amite River Bridge will be completely closed on Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The lane closure is being put in place to allow crews to demolish the remaining pier in the river for the old eastbound bridge.

Drivers may use I-12 as an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
