Crews are forming and placing concrete in the north columns. On the other side of Bayou Terrebonne, road crews continue digging up the old road and building the new road foundation on La. 24 (Main Street) and La. 3087 (Prospect Street).
Crews have removed the entire structure of the old bridge. The new drainage work located along La. 3087 (Prospect Street) and La. 24 (Main Street) is complete. The foundation piles for the north pier have been completed. Approximately 28,000 cubic yards of embankment have been placed on La. 24 and La. 3087 to elevate the new roadway to meet the south bridge. Crews formed the south pier and formed and poured the columns on the north pier.
