La. 6 at the Grand Ecore Bridge will be completely closed beginning Tuesday, July 5, at 11:30 p.m. until Wednesday, July 6, at 4:30 a.m. to allow to remove and relocate temporary barrier rail, perform necessary grinding and lay striping.

One lane of La. 6 at the Grand Ecore Bridge will open to traffic with a pilot truck escort for the remainder of the day until work is completed. All lanes of traffic will then open at approximately 4 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will return to one-lane piloted traffic during the working hours over the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Oversize loads will not be allowed to pass through the construction zone and must detour using La. 1.
