The repairs are complete, but the job is not done! Next week, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will announce a significant project in relation to the newly refurbished Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge.
To commemorate this special announcement, a media event will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at 10 a.m., under the bridge at N. Claiborne Avenue and Jourdan Avenue. DOTD administrators, local legislators, city leaders and community advocates are expected to attend.
Structural and mechanical repairs to the bridge were completed in May by contractor Boh Bros. Construction Co.
