Crews are out prepping and cleaning LA 73 to ready it for a new surface. Starting tomorrow at 8:30, crews will begin placing a 1.5-inch layer of new asphalt as the next step in the project. They will lay one direction on Friday and return and lay the other direction on Saturday.

This will be a moving operation so in some areas of the project the road will be down to one lane with intermittent traffic in each direction. Crews will provide traffic control in the area of the lane closure to allow one direction of traffic to go at a time.
