BATON ROUGE, La. – LA Swift, the free bus service that transports displaced residents, workers and job-seekers between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, will change the location of the LaPlace bus stop beginning Sunday, Dec.24.

The new location is on the shoulder of U.S. 51, between McDonalds and the Pilot truck stop. Portable signs will be placed at the stop to alert riders where to stand to board the bus. Travel schedules will not change.
