DOTD closes I-10 bridge in Lake Charles for inspection, maintenance

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) closed the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles this morning to conduct a regularly scheduled inspection and routine maintenance.

 

The bridge is expected to re-open 3:30 p.m. Thursday. While closed, crews will also clean the bridge decking and clear the gutters and drains.

 

The suggested detour for around this section of I-10 is I-210.
